Water Conservation - Awareness Drive !!!

 

Great things starts with a small step !!!

                                   

 

  This is Water Conservation Awareness Drive was targeted to spread awareness  among the youth about the need to save water .... Water our elixir of life needs to be conserved not ruthlessly exploited or wasted.




Posters were stuck at various places in our campus ...and it did prove effective..People got interested in our posters and asked us the ways to save water ...The NIT-T TGCC Team also went about distributing pamphlets and explaining scores of students about the need to conserve

   Guys hungry ??? Want some delicious food for lunch ??? Our chef Solaris is here to help you out !!!

OK ! confused .... any guesses what it is actually ??? yea, it is a solar cooker.  The sun or here Mr. Solaris graces us with his solar energy for 6-7 months in a year ..now tapping that energy to make some delicious food isn't it a great idea.
Well it is still under construction but don't worry when done we will send you people some lovely food . :p

GREEN IS THE NEW WAY !!!

NITT for Green Revolution , Our Green Rally !!

 We as engineering college has showed that we not only produce engineers but GREENENGIneers. The Green Rally was just the perfect example for it. The main idea of this rally was to create awareness about our environment and our role as human beings to save the world. On that socially sound note the Green Rally was held on 15th of September 2012 and location The Marina Beach. It started from from Kannagi Statue to City Center. And people just poured in our rally and was well appreciated by them. Even film Directors like  Dr. Vasanth joined us in our noble cause. Slogans like " Lets not leave our Blue planet in Blues", "Reduce,Reuse, Recycle so that we are not recycled "..... just gave a boost to our spirits.

THE GREEN RALLY PROVED TO BE A HUGE SUCCESS AND ITS VOICE WAS
WELL HEARD !!! KUDOS TO NIT-T AND TGCC TEAM !!!
